About Us


H.P. Steel Window Restoration & Repair, Inc. is a family-owned and operated, Lead-Safe Certified Firm, established on 2015. The owner and founder, Omar Hernandez, branched out on his own after repairing and restoring thousands of steel windows and doors, over the course of 15 years as an employee of Seekircher Steel Window Corp.  During his time with Seekircher, Omar worked his way up from the lowest position to managing his own crew on job sites.  He has always believed that working hands-on enables him to learn everything entailed in restoring windows and doors to their former beauty.  

Omar enjoys making a difference in whether windows end up dumped in our landfills or gracing us with their elegance for decades more.  After many years working in commercial, municipalities, and residential locations all over the United States, Omar believes "no job is too big or too small" and he has ensured to make this belief the basis of his company.  Omar has over 21 years of working on casements, double hung windows, and doors.
