What a Waste!

It is really upsetting when the beauty that was still present within these windows cannot be appreciated any longer because someone decided that it was not worth the effort to conserve history. This warehouse in Beacon, New York, is being converted into condo's, the picture next to the building is what the windows became after some contractor tore them out. There are plenty of businesses, mine included who would have taken them out with the intention of restoring them to their former beauty! Its upsetting when the proper research is not done; why buy a home or business with these types of historical or architectural features if you never meant to conserve it?
Do your research; just like a recent client of ours did, then factor it into the buying price of your historical home.  There are grants that can be won to restore historical properties, look for them.  Go into the buying phase with all the facts.

What our customers have to say;

Absolutely great work!  Omar was honest and hard working.  He was always willing to stop and explain every aspect of the restoration.  He was as excited as I to see the results of a long days work!  H.P. Steel Windows worked with me to accomplish my vision.                                                                    J.F.
