As we worked yesterday at the Ethical Cultural Fieldston School, in the Bronx; I looked out the windows in one of the classrooms and thought to myself "How many generations of students have stood here looking at the trees turning color?" That is the beauty of steel framed windows, you can stand in front of one and still be able to enjoy the view decades after installing them because they are made to withstand. They may be a little beat up by nature but they can be restored so that decades from now another generation will stand where I stood and enjoy the colors of fall!
